MISSION
The Lindenwood Library’s Media and Gaming Lab is dedicated to utilizing current and emerging technology to support the Lindenwood community, including academic departments and curriculum, student organizations, and individual endeavors of Lindenwood faculty, students and staff. The Media and Gaming Lab continually evaluates its technology, software, and collections, with the aim of improving the services it provides and the events and workshops it offers to foster excellence and creativity within the greater Lindenwood University community.
Available Services
Media and Gaming Lab
The Media and Gaming Lab offers Lindenwood students a space to work on their video, digital imaging, and audio editing projects.
Audio Recording Studio
The Media and Gaming Lab is equipped with one soundproofed recording studio, located in the Archives, for creating podcast, voice overs, and other sound projects.
Video and Game Collections
We have a growing collection of video, board, and tabletop RPG games. We also have consoles available for use in the Gaming Lounge (322), alongside our Immersive Reality headsets. Gaming Collections | Lindenwood University
Immersive Reality and Game Hub
Our Oculus Quest and Rift headsets, located in our Immersive Reality and Game Hub (LARC 322), allow faculty and students to experience virtual reality.
Who Uses our Services
Faculty and staff utilize our services and resources to create course-related media content for online and face-to-face instruction and presentations.
Students utilize our services and collections to complete course related projects, from video and audio based media projects to digital imaging and statistical projects.
